I’m Jeremy: CONjuror, Magician, Pickpocket

I created Rogue Magic to offer curated entertainment with an intellectual edge that is exclusive, intriguing, and slightly mischievous.

Sort of like a museum curator, I maintain a select collection of rare experiences. I don’t display everything. Instead, I choose what belongs in this moment, in this room, for your guests.

The skills of magicians, grift artists, and pickpockets fascinate me. Some of them are so well practiced, their skills really do seem to border on the supernatural.

This led me to spend a fair amount of time studying human perception, thinking, and behavior - often in the context of deception & sleight-of-hand entertainment and demonstrations. So much so, that I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degrees in both forensic psychology and clinical social work.

Combined, my interests and experiences allow me to do a few cool things.

Grift Artistry (CONjuring)

Grift Artistry (which I often call CONjuring) is deception and sleight-of-hand entertainment based specifically on street con games (e.g., 3 Card Monte, Shell Game, etc.), bar bets, and psychology from the street sometimes known as "Grift Sense."

Close-up Magic is something I provide at every booking. It is integrated with Grift Artistry to entertain guests with an array of enigmas, interactive sleight of hand, and psychological illusions.

Pickpocket Entertainment

Pickpocket Entertainment (a.k.a. Theatrical Thievery, Pickpocket Magic, Comedy Pickpocket) is widely considered amongst magicians as a pinnacle, and classic, demonstration of deception and sleight of hand in action.

It is all about showcasing the art of the skills, which is often mixed with sleight-of-hand magic & grift artistry.

All participants are made aware I am an entertainer prior to performing or presenting.
Only offered for select bookings.
Theatrical pickpocketing is purely for demonstration, entertainment, and presentational purposes.

Participants are always treated with the upmost respect, never embarrassed, and everything is always returned in an entertaining manner.

All "misappropriated" items are returned in a fashion that is entertaining for everyone!
